  2. ¼ cup Sauteed Peppers & Onions,½ cup cooked Italian Sausage
  3. Slice up ½ cup of the pepperoni into small pieces. set aside. Cut extra capsicums (about 8-10 extra slices) into fun shapes to decorate the hat (diamonds, triangles, crescents). Set these aside.
  4. ½ cup finely chopped chili
  5. In a small bowl, combine salt, pepper, and Italian seasonings.
  6. 3/4 teaspoon kosher salt, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  7. In a medium bowl, combine softened cream cheese, mozzarella, parmesan, bell pepper, onion, sausage, ½ cup chili pepper, and spice mix.
  8. ½ cup grated mozzarella, ¼ cup grated parmesan, 4 oz softened cream cheese
  9. Roll out the crescent roll into separate triangles. On the prepared baking sheet he places 4 triangles and sets the remaining 4 of him aside. (The triangle you saved will be the top of the calzone.) If you have 2 baking sheets, place 4 on each baking sheet. If you only have one, do this with a tube of crescent rolls at a time, as the dough may tear if it gets too hot.
  10. Crescent roll 2 packs
  11. Lightly beat the eggs in a small bowl. mix in water. Brush the edge of the croissant on the baking sheet with the egg. 1 egg, lightly beaten, 1 tbsp water
  12. Place 1.5-2 tablespoons in the center of each croissant roll.
  13. Take the other half of the croissant and place it on top of each croissant along with the cheese mixture.
  14. Lightly pinch the edges so that the cheese mixture stays on the croissant as it bakes.
  15. Fold the bottom of the crescent roll in like the brim of a witch's hat. The top of the hat is processed to look like a witch's hat. Paint the witch's hat with the egg.
  16. Place a fun piece of hot pepper on the brim of the hat. (triangle, rhombus, crescent moon)
  17. Sprinkle the spice mixture over the hat.
  18. Place the baking sheet in the center of the oven and bake at 425°F for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown. Sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese (optional)
  19. Serve with warm marinara sauce. (I use my favorite grocery store sauce and reheat it in the microwave. Transfer the sauce to a microwave-safe bowl and heat in 15-second increments until warm enough.)
  20. Marinara sauce, warm, and enjoy.
