This easy crab dip recipe is made with fresh crab meat in a creamy dip that can be served hot or cold. Perfect for parties, game days, and holiday appetizers and side dishes. The ingredients are so simple that you just need to get fresh crabs from the store.
Ingredients :
- 8 oz package of cream cheese, room temperature
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 2 cloves of garlic (chopped)
- ¼ cup chopped green onions
- 1 and 1/2 tsp Old Bay Seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon salt*
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 squeezed lemon
- 1 cup freshly grated cheddar cheese
- ½ teaspoon or more of hot sauce
- 1 pound of fresh jumbo crab meat

Instructions :
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Put cream cheese in a bowl and mix until smooth. Stir in mayonnaise, sour cream, garlic, green onions, Old Bay seasoning, salt, Worcestershire, and lemon juice.
- Add 3/4 cup cheddar cheese and hot sauce and mix until smooth. Stir in crab meat.
- Spread in a 9-inch cake pan or similarly sized baking dish and sprinkle with remaining cheddar cheese. Bake for about 20 minutes or until the top is golden and bubbly. Serve hot with sourdough bread, crackers, tortilla chips, or chopped chilled vegetables.
- Leftover shrimp dip can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Reheat in the microwave.
